Census officials explain delay of enumeration
The Publicity and Advocacy Advisor for the National Population and Housing Census 2024 has revealed that technical challenges in the Computer Aided Personal Interview (CAPI) machines delayed the enumeration exercise today May 10th 2024. He says “some machines somehow slipped through the process without the relevant software being properly installed”. Mr. Alfred Musamali adds that enumerators are also facing logging in challenges because they are not accustomed to the new technology.
